About this product
A reflective indoor grow tent that gives your plants their own room
600D Oxford fabric on a powder-coated steel frame, with a Mylar lining, vent and cord ports, three support bars and a removable floor tray. Choose 1.2 m or 1.5 m wide.
Supported by strong metal poles, this Oxford fabric grow tent is double-stitched for good light blockage.
Easy to install and set up, with no tools needed. It suits new and experienced growers alike.
Available in two sizes: 1.2 m x 1.2 m x 2 m or 1.5 m x 1.5 m x 2 m.
Whether it is sunny or rainy, summer or winter, a grow tent gives your plants their own controlled space, where you set the light and humidity.
Versatile ports: 5 vent ports help with temperature control, 2 ground-level micro-mesh ports let air in, and 2 cord ports keep cables tidy. 3 zippered doors give easy access, and the large one has Velcro tape to hold it open.
Efficient lighting: the Mylar lining is 95 to 98 percent reflective according to the supplier, so more of your grow light reaches the plants, and a wide flap inside each zipper stops light leaking out.
Durable construction: 600D Oxford fabric on a powder-coated steel frame with heavy-duty PP corner connectors. The fabric helps keep the conditions inside the tent steady and keeps odours in.
Easy to assemble and clean: no tools are needed, 3 support bars take the weight of lights and fans, and the removable spill tray catches water or nutrient solution if something overflows.

What is an Indoor Grow Tent?
An indoor grow tent, also called a growing tent system or hydroponic grow room, is a portable enclosed space for indoor gardening. It has reflective walls, ports for ventilation and bars for hanging lights.
What are the benefits of using a Growing Tent System?
It gives your plants a space where you control the light and air, whatever the conditions outside. It keeps light from your grow lights inside, helps keep odours in, and keeps an indoor garden tidy and out of sight.
How does a Hydroponic Grow Room work?
You set up a hydroponic system inside the tent, hang grow lights and a fan from the support bars, and use the vent ports for fresh air. The reflective lining bounces light back onto the plants.
Can an Indoor Grow Tent accommodate different types of plants?
Yes, vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruiting plants can all be grown inside, with lighting and ventilation set up to suit them.
Is a Growing Tent System easy to set up?
Yes. It assembles without tools: build the steel frame, fit the fabric cover and add the support bars.
Can a Hydroponic Grow Room be used in small spaces?
The 1.2 m tent needs a floor area of 120 cm x 120 cm and 200 cm of height; the 1.5 m tent needs 150 cm x 150 cm. Measure your room, including ceiling height, before ordering.
Are Indoor Grow Tents energy-efficient?
The reflective lining sends more of your grow light's output back to the plants, so less light is wasted. Your power use depends mainly on the lights and fans you run inside it.
Can a Growing Tent System be used for all stages of plant growth?
Yes, from seedlings to flowering, by adjusting your lights, their height and the ventilation.
How durable are Hydroponic Grow Rooms?
This tent uses 600D Oxford fabric on a powder-coated steel frame with heavy-duty corner connectors. Keeping it clean and dry between uses helps it last.
Are Indoor Grow Tents suitable for commercial or professional use?
They suit home and small-scale growing. Larger commercial operations usually build dedicated grow rooms.
What sizes are available?
Two sizes, both 2 m tall: 1.2 m x 1.2 m and 1.5 m x 1.5 m. Choose the size in the drop-down on this page.
Why do the two sizes cost different amounts?
The 1.5 m tent is larger, with more fabric and longer poles. Each size's price is shown when you select it.
Does the tent come with lights or fans?
No, the tent does not include lights, fans or a hydroponic system. Our LED grow light strips hang from the support bars.
Can I fit a 108 cup kit inside?
Yes. By the 108 cup kit's own listed size it fits inside either tent, standing well under the tent height. Leave floor space for your reservoir and room to reach every level.
What are the vent ports for?
The 5 vent ports take ducting for a fan or let warm air out, and the 2 ground-level micro-mesh ports let fresh air in.
How do I stop light leaking out?
Close all the zips fully. A wide flap inside each zipper covers the gap to stop light leaks.
Can it be used outdoors?
It is designed for indoor use. Rain and sun would damage the fabric and the equipment inside.
How much weight can the support bars hold?
The supplier does not publish a load rating. They are made for grow lights and small fans; hang heavy equipment from a ceiling fixing instead.
How do I clean the tent?
Lift out the floor tray and wipe it, and wipe the lining with a damp cloth. Let everything dry before using it again.
Does the tent have a floor tray?
Yes, a removable spill tray sits on the floor of the tent to catch water or nutrient solution, and lifts out for cleaning.
Do I need any tools to put it together?
No tools are needed.
How will my tent be shipped?
It ships in a box across Canada, free on orders of $50 or more, and arrives in 5 to 7 days after our 24 to 48 hour handling time.
Can I return it if it is the wrong size?
Yes, within 15 days of purchase, unused and in its original packaging with proof of purchase. You pay the return postage; see our refunds and returns page.
The complete guide
Setting up an indoor grow tent
6 min readHydroponics Company Canada
A grow tent turns a corner of a room into a dedicated space for plants. It holds the light from your grow lights inside, lets you manage airflow, and keeps an indoor garden tidy. This tent comes in two sizes, both 2 m tall: 1.2 m x 1.2 m and 1.5 m x 1.5 m.
What it is made of
Fabric: 600D Oxford fabric, double-stitched for good light blockage.
Lining: Mylar, which the supplier rates at 95 to 98 percent reflective.
Frame: powder-coated steel poles joined by heavy-duty PP corner connectors.
Floor: a removable spill tray.
Ports, doors and bars
5 vent ports (20 cm across) for ducting and warm air out.
2 ground-level micro-mesh ports (50 cm x 18 cm) for fresh air in.
2 cord ports to keep cables tidy.
3 zippered doors, the large one with Velcro tape to hold it open.
3 support bars for hanging grow lights and small fans.
Choosing your size
Measure the floor space and the ceiling height first. The 1.2 m tent needs 120 cm x 120 cm of floor and the 1.5 m tent needs 150 cm x 150 cm, and both stand 200 cm tall. Allow room around the tent to open the doors and reach the ports. If you plan to run our 108 cup NFT kit inside, it stands 140 cm tall on a 96 cm x 50 cm footprint, so it fits either tent.
Setting it up
Assemble the steel frame with the corner connectors; no tools are needed.
Pull the fabric cover over the frame and close the zips.
Fit the support bars and hang your grow lights and fan.
Place the spill tray, then your system or pots, and run cables through the cord ports.
Tips for growing in a tent
Give plants fresh air: a small fan on a vent port with air coming in through the mesh ports.
Keep the zips closed while lights are on so the lining reflects light back to the plants.
Check temperature and humidity inside the tent, especially with lights running.
Tell us about your space and what you want to grow, and we will tell you which kit, light or tent fits before you buy. Free shipping across Canada on orders over $50.
